Peru is a land of wonder and contrasts... It has dense jungles, barren
deserts and high mountains all within a very close proximity. The Andes
were home to the advanced Inca civilizations centuries before the arrival
of the Spaniards and Europeans. The farmers in this region are very traditional
native farmers and their only crop is coffee. It is our goal to provide you with the best coffee that Peru and the world has
to offer. With a Peruvian coffee you will normally experience mildly acidic coffee, light to medium in
body BUT flavorful and aromatic. Try it and we are pretty sure that you agree with hundreds of our customers that say it is one of the best they have ever had.
Many farmers in Peru, as in the rest of the world, are being driven out
of business by large corporate farms that only have concern for corporate
profits. While we obviously have to remain profitable to remain in business we are also concerned with
keeping the family farms and small coops in existence. That is why we purchase coffee that comes from these growers...

The
above picture shows ripe coffee cherries. At Huanuco Coffee we only
buy the best coffees available. Some years are good and some years are
not so good... That is the coffee business. For that reason we have
contacts with many cooperatives all over Peru and the world so that we can always
try to have available beans for those with very selective tastes.
You may buy your coffee by the 1 pound bag or (for greater savings) you may select by the 5 pound bag or larger. Please let us know whether you want whole roasted beans or perhaps roasted and ground. It is important for us that you not buy more coffee than you can use in about two months, that way your coffee always remains fresh. So order only what you need AND order often! Send a note with your request to: Sales (Sales@HuanucoCoffee.com).
We also sell green coffee beans in 50 lb quantities or greater. We export in 40,000lb containers so we can handle whatever your coffee needs are. Please contact us to let us know how much green coffee you are interested in purchasing and we'll give you a quote. Let us know your needs and we can customize an agreement to meet your request. We can offer anything from FOB at the nearest Port of origin to handling the shipping, inspections, foreign and domestic Customs. You can arrange to pick up your coffee at a bonded Customs warehouse or we can negotiate shipping directly to your facility.
A portion of EVERY sale goes to help poor children at Santa Rosa Alta, Primary School, in the mountains outside of Huanuco, Peru. We purchase school supplies, hot meals and one-a-day vitamins for a class of thirty students. The children and all of us here at Huanuco Coffee Company thank you for your purchase!
